In July, 2001, we drove up to Oregon for Bob and Marie Clapp's wedding. On the
way up there, we staying in Crater Lake National Park for two days. I
highly recommend such a trip. If you only pass through in a single day, you probably get to do
one thing only. We were able to hike Garfield Peak, do some touring, and do
the boat tour without rushing around terribly. The campgrounds in the park are
quite nice, with good forested sites.
