Biography - Morgan P. Brown

I graduated from Stanford with a PhD in geophysics in June, 2004, advised by Biondo Biondi. You can read my dissertation, Least-Squares Joint Imaging of Multiples and Primaries, as HTML or PDF.

I received a B.A. in 1997 from Rice University in Computational and Applied Mathematics. I was a member of Brown College, though the name is a coincidence (think Brown & Root for the benefactor). I'm currently a partner in Wave Imaging Technology, Inc., a seismic processing start-up.

Our daughter Claire was born on September 5, 2006. My wife Kimberly earned an MBA from Rice; while there she was Director of the National Association of Women MBA's. She's now a business analyst for Symantec.

More of my background and previous experience is contained in my résumé (MS Word).
