CONCLUSIONS

The CM Fortran compiler is an excellent but fragile piece of software that can produce efficient parallelized code from an intuitive set of constructs that are quite easily learned. It still has problems, and I think I did better than most by keeping the code very simple. The CM-2 machine we have is not suitable for any production work, but provides a fine development environment.
