Velocity vs. pore pressure

At various fixed overburden pressures and temperatures, Vp decreases 3-9% fairly linearly as pore pressure increases from 100 psia to 400 psia in saturated samples. This is due to grain matrix elasticity alone, not to any phase change in the pore fluid.
