Japan and China

I was in Japan and China over spring break in 2005. We started by flying into Tokyo and taking the Shinkansen to Osaka, and then went further south to Kumamoto, then back up through Hiroshima before stopping in Kyoto, where we visited the Imperial Palace, ate some Kobe Beef, and looked around the National Museum of Modern Art. We then went North to Tokyo, where we stayed in Akasaka and wandered around Ginza, Akihabara, Shinjuku, Roppongi, Ueno Park, and the Tsukiji Fish Market.
We then flew to Shanghai, where we wandered around The Bund, Pudong, Yayang Gardens, Nanjing Road, The French Concession, Shanghai Museum, and Tongji University before heading out of town to Hangzhou and Suzhou before heading back home.
