Tom Barger Camp.

Kamal writes, "Have you seen "Out in the Blue", by Tom Barger? This is an outstanding book by one of the early pioneering geologists, who was a friend of Max Steineke. He later moved to Government Relations, and then became the President of the Company [ARAMCO]. His book is a series of letters between him and his wife. In them he details the life at that time (1937-1940). It's fascinating.

Tim (not Tom!) Barger writes, "Max Steineke is the American to the right of Cecil in the red ghutra. The brush piled up in front of the tent is a windbreak."
