Known bugs in Galoob, 9/27/99

If you'd like to fix any of these bugs, I can provide the game in a tar file for you.
  1. galoob:
      It uses some javascript code that is unstable. It expects a newer version of netscape. Seems to work on linux, netscape 4.51 and above. Needs to be tested on other new netscape/javascript versions.
  2. Current state
    • I left : wampusup.html so it works with my newer netscape version. The correct solution is to ifdef dependant on version number.
    • Generally though the game appears to work.
  3. Converting from mac to unix
    In /sep.../family/jos/galoob4 I left
    • dos2unix (which has been hard coded to mac2unix) If you run "dos2unix file" it will take care of returns etc
    • recursive.pl html
      will convert all html (or whatever other suffix you choose) in a directory tree to unix from mac
    • emacs will also do an automatic conversion (just emacs file and save)
