A nice view of the Laramie River valley of Northern Colorado, looking south from the vicinity of Red Mountain Pass. I had just come over a rugged route through the Medicine Bow mountains when I took this photo. Driving down Interstate 70 on a summer weekend, you'd get the idea that the mountains are just as crowded with people as the city. However, if you take a little time and effort to get off the beaten track, you can find pristine areas like this. The fishing wasn't bad, either.
