From the North Platte River valley, near Walden, Colorado, take Colorado Highway 125 south to U.S. Highway 40. You'll find some beautiful scenery in Routt National Forest. You just don't see that BIG BLUE sky around here... The peak is Gravel Mountain (11769'), and the meadow is along Wilson Creek, on the trail up to Lost Lake (9662').
