Much work remains to be done and we look forward to collaborating with
many other authors by working within the same C++ class framework.
Some of the remaining tasks are:
- More operators need to be written, especially ones dealing with
complex data.
- Some of the current syntax is clumsy because we do not have a templated
matrix class. This will be corrected when a public domain templated matrix
class becomes available.
- We need a simple operator example that encapsulates a pair of fortran
routines that apply an operator and its conjugate. This will help fortran
programmers to migrate their existing code to the new framework.
- We need numerical analysts to write better solver routines and to help
us design a preconditioned solver routine so that we can experiment with
various types of preconditioning.
