Our framework has been used
to rewrite many routines from the book, PVI. During the rewriting process
the rigorous error checking built into the C++ code revealed
an error in the book in a Fortran solver for one operator.
Although the simple routines were of a similar
complexity to the original Fortran routines, the more complicated problems
that involve combining existing operators in chains and array were much
simpler to write in C++. We intend to continue this work and we intend to
solve more complicated problems that discourage coding in Fortran.
